Many credit prohibition to the increase in consumer demand for ice cream products; it was during this time that Eppelsheimer & Company was founded in New York Eppelsheimer moulds are made from pewter and are hinged for ease of opening. The molds are nondescript on the exterior but the interior of the moulds are quite detailed which result in very detailed ice cream desserts.DESCRIPTIONThis listing is for an antique Eppelsheimer & Co. figural Puss N' Boots #657 figural kitten cat inside of a boot shoe ice cream chocolate mold. The mold is made from pewter and is hinged for ease of opening.The inside of the mold is very detailed in order to give the finished ice cream or chocolate confection a beautiful finish. The top front side of the mold on the outer face of the cat is marked E. & CO. N.Y. 657 The back side of the mold carries the mold number 657.CONDITIONThis antique Eppelsheimer & Co. pewter lion mold is in wonderful condition. The surface of the pewter is free of any dents, bend, or deep scratches. The hinged opening opens easily and closes securely. This antique mold has come from a smoke free estate collection and is odor free.~ SHIPPING COSTS ~ Your item will be packaged appropriately with tissue paper, bubble wrap, and Styrofoam peanuts, and shipped to you via United States Priority Mail shipping; your package will be fully insured.
