This auction is for a nice antique Erie (pre-Griswold) cast iron #7 skillet. Pattern number is 703. While this pan was used, it sits flat on the heat ring and has no wobble. Nicely cleaned. The pan has no cracks. It was part of a large collection and was displayed. This pan could certainly be used for cooking. Please review the photographs for appearance and condition and the markings. The bottom shows evidence of past heavy use. Pleanty of pitting. The cooking surface has some utensil marks and shallow pitting. The pan measures 9 3/4 inches across the top (excluding the two pour spouts). The pan is 2 inches deep. It weighs over 3 3/4 pounds. Please contact me with any questions.
