This is a Wonderful, Antique 10K Gold Victorian Pinor Fob, in Great shape for its age! This Unique pin boasts a wonderful Gold MESH Design...that is ornamented with a Scroll Medallion...--t is an Oval Cartouche form on this scroll medallion that is Perfect for a Monogram...--though t are NO monograms on this item, and No removals of Monograms!Hanging below this is a oval "Charm" that has a Cameo in it!...the cameo appears to be made out of glass, and it is a Rich Red-Orange Color...see images..On the back of the cameo t is a threaded hole, (aparantly how this cameo was extracted from the mold that made it?!)---t is a small knit line in the glass coming from this hole...see images...This line doesn't appear to be very deep, and it does Not show on the front of the cameo... This pin, as it is a woven MESH is very flexible...see images...this allows it to confom to what ever it is against....--The back of this item has a pin on it...so that it can be worn on the lapel etc...though it could also be used as a fob, and a chain clipped to the top ring on the top of this pin...The back of the pin is marked 10K, indicating that this item is made from 10K solid gold...see images...The tube that the pin is on is open on one side and solid on the other...please see images...This item weighs an impressive 7.2 grams!At todays gold price of about $670 an ounce, the SCRAP Value of the GOLD in this item is about $64.63!!--and gold Continues to RISE! ---This auction is Starting at about the SCRAP VALUE of the gold it is made from! --you can't go wrong!This is a wonderfully UNIQUE Antique Long Pin or Fob, and it is in Great shape for its age....T are NO holes in the gold mesh...no dents or dings that I can locate...as Mentioned t is NO Monogram on this item either...The cameo is in great shape, with no dings or chips to the cameo that I can locate...!This is a great, HIGH QUALITY Gold Pin / Fob....and Quite UNIQUE in its Form and Design!
