Antique 1/2L Etched Mettlach #2922 German Beer Stein With an Ornate Thumblift and Inlaid Lid! Dated 1903! This Wonderful Etched Mettlach Features a Colorful Scene of a Hunter Drinking by the Camp Fire! The Pewter Lid has a Beautiful Relief Inlay that Features a Cluster of Grapes! The Base is Flat and Incised Marked with the Villeroy and Boch - Mettlach Castle or Abbey Mark and Incised Below says "Mettlach", "Ges. Gesch.", "2922", "30", "II" and "03" (the Date Code For the Year of Manufacture 1903)! Approx. 8 1/4" High to the Tip of the Thumblift. The Lid is a Replacement From Another Old Mettlach and this Stein is Otherwise in Excellent Condition and Displays Exceptionally Well! Best of All T is NO RESERVE !!!
