The Holy Bible Old and New Testaments (German Language) Printing Date: 1847 Publisher: Place where Printed: New York Measurements: 8 X 6 X 2 1/2 appx. Purchased in Granville, Ohio. #25 James Knox Polk the 11th President of the United States was president when this Bible was printed. Description: Nicks, dings, stains, foxing, dog eared, all pages there and the binding is tight. Fair condition overall Family Information: Inside front cover: Hand writing but I can't make out what it spells, might be in German see photo Births (note: the writer used an abbreviation for Peterseim > P seim) John H. P seim was born in the year of our Lord April 14th 1810 in can't make out the town or area... looks like Fruhy ?? Martha M. Elizabeth seim was born in the year of our Lord 1813? the 21? of Jan. the too were married??(hard to read) ???? January John M.
