This is a heavy cast metal antique picture or mirror frame, age and maker unknown. It is 11 1/2" high x 8 1/4" wide x 4 1/4" deep including the hinged stand. Beautiful ornate open work with scrolly leaves and curls. The opening measured from the back is 4 3/8" x 6 1/4", that will hold a photo or a mirror. It is black, and may have been painted, looks like it may be brass underneath. The numbers 1 and 2172 are impressed into the back, possibly a mold number. A gorgeous old frame, perfect on an old vanity when used as a mirror. Buyer pays shipping. Thank you, and please see our other auctions.
