Madeby Fenton between 1911 and 1925, this old, unmarked carnival glass master berry bowl is in the Butterfly and Berry pattern, both inside and out. Butterfly and Berry was Fenton's most popular carnival glass pattern. This piece sits on three ball and claw feet, stands 4" tall, is round and fluted and measures 9.5" across the top. The glass color is cobalt blue. The outside has very nice multi-color iridescence all the way around--I took photos of different sides so you can get the entire picture. But it's on the inside w the best color resides on this bowl. The inside is filled with firey hues of copper, green, yellow, red, purple, blue and all surfaces are well iridized. It is in very good condition, with the normal and expected production imperfections, such as a long straw mark (I think that is the term) on the inside bowl. T is a small chip about the size of a pinhead on one of the talons of one foot. A lovely addition to your antique carnival glass and Fenton collection. Buyer pays s/h of $16.95 in the US, insurance additional upon request. Int'l s/h depends on destination. Paypal and US funds MOs only. Payment to be received within 7 days of end of auction.
