Found at an estate auction: an wonderful little collection of CARNIVAL GLASS. Here is a charming bonbon bowl by FENTON from the early 1900's. This 2-handled bowl, in the MARIGOLD color, features a scalloped rim with 4 graceful ruffles, and the pattern is PEACOCK TAIL: an amazing series of rounded ribs enhance the ruffles and meet in the center. The condition is excellent. Please understand that I have no expert knowledge of Carnival glass, so let the photos be the best description. There are often inherent manufacturing flaws with glass from this period, but I see no cracks or chips. Really a beautiful piece. 7-1/2" across (including handles) 3-1/4" tall (including handles) 2-3/4" across circular base
