This is a very old original flexible flyer sled. I have been told it is a # 6 from the early 1900's. It is approximately 8 1/2 feet long and has 4 foot rest as well at the front steering for the 5th person. The Flexible flyer original wording can be seen as well as a patent pending, but it is very faded. On the top of the steering area is the words (Super Patent Steering) see picture. I have had this since I was a young girl and we had many years of fun with it. Then when my kids were young, my husband and I would take our boys sledding with it and have the 3 of them in between us. We have had countless of hours of fun with it. It looks old, but whenever we want to use it, we simply grease up the skis and off we go. I know we shouldn't have still been using it since it is about a hundred years old, but the fun this sled brings is like nothing you can get on todays sleds. Do to the size and weight of this, I can not ship. I can travel within a 100 or so miles to meet or deliver it, but It is too much to ship. I live in Greene County, NY (near Albany).
