This eastern Ohio white marble doorstop was created by a tombstone carver in his spare time utilizing scraps at his workshop and measures 3 1/8” tall x 4” x 6 1/4”. It has boldly carved letters with stepped ogee top edges and has scattered chips and dirt and weathered finish. The base features stylized intaglio carved flowers as shown.
