I charge as close to the actual shipping cost as possible and when I combine shipping it is at the actual cost. I pack very well! Antique Folk Art Chilrens Handmade Primitive Childs Red Chair 1900-1910 Size: 23" tall. The seat is 10" wide by 11" deep. Condition: All in oe piece. The seat has some splits in it. I have shown closeups of the top and bottom so you can see it had some kind of furniture staples put in the seat (2 on top and 4 underneath and 2 at the back). The staples look like original construction. The seat back it a little wobbly. It rocks forward a bit, but not back. I could be fixed. I have just been careful not to pick it up by the seat back. Description: This chair from from right around 1900-1910. I bought it from a neighbor in the 1990's. She has since passed away. She was born in 1902 and this chair was made for her when she was a girl by her Dad. According to her the red paint was some kind of dye or paint that her Dad made. It is original. I used it to display a doll, but have decided to part with the chair. It is a real piece of folk art. A lot of people make up stories. I do not. I do not kow what kind of wood it is.
