Antique Framed Map of c.Durham by Archibald FullARTON c .1830 Anattractive, neatly engraved 19th century map of c.Durham with a beautiful vignette of The Prebends Bridge and Durham Cathedral by Archibald Fullarton & Co Glasgow c.1830. Includes: South Shields, Sunderland, Hartlepool, Darlington and Bishop Auckland. Archibald Fullarton was one of the most eminent and prolific cartographers in the 19th Century producing many fine maps. This is an original steel plate engraving with hand colouring Printed area is approximately 24cm by 19cm Folding map in very good condition with excellent margins. The item is displayed in a good quality frame Published by Archibald Fullarton & Co Glasgow c.1830 Artist - Fullarton. A, engraved by Gray & Son Guaranteed to be over 180 years old.
