A Beautiful French Majolica Coffee Pot in the Oriental Manner by Choisy Le Roi, Ca. 1880. This is a great looking French majolica coffee pot by Choisy Le Roi. I would date it to Ca 1880 The coffee pot has a max height to the top of the knob on the lid of approx 24.6 cm. It is in used condition, with damages - the spout has been broken off and stuck back just below the top collar decoration and there are large chips to the inside of the lid, one to the spout and one to the base. The glaze is crazed, as to be expected. It does however, display very well as the damage visible to the outside (spout) is very hard to see. Please study the close up pictures below for full details.
