~*~Hello and thank you for looking~*~ Up for auction today is this amazing Antique French fabric dating c 1880~*~ ~*~This fabric is simply wonderful and matches the pelmet that is listed just next to it. This is a beautiful beautiful antique textile and has the most wonderful, antique rose design. The colors include : beautiful madder red, latte and a softer warmer tone of sand and cream background. This fabric is 100% cotton and are actually part of a very large curtain panel. ( t is more information on the curtain panels below) The last 2 photographs are details of the large curtain panel, in full, out of interest. More information below. It is in wonderful condition, no holes and no stains. Freshly laundered and ready to use ~*~ Curtain Panel information: I have photographed this large panel in the dappled Vermont sunlight, so w it appears to have lighter spots, it is only dappled sunlight! ~*~ The curtain panel that this lovely fabric comes from is just so large and wonderful and in beautiful condition. It is one of 3 panels that came with the lovely pelmet listed just near this auction. These panels measure approx. 7.61 feet by 4.92 feet wide at the bottom and 22.8 inches w they are gatd at the top. ( 232cm by 150cm at the bottom and 58cm w they are gatd at the top) . The curtain panel is made from 2 long panels of the fabric seamed together with tiny tiny stitches down the lenght and then gatd at the top and tape placed at the gather. T are lovely little tiny brass rings for hanging.
