ANTIQUE FRENCH GILDED ENAMEL PORCELAIN HAND PAINTED PORTRAIT VASE 13" SIGNED BY ARTIST Up for bids is this antique French gilded enamel porcelain hand painted portrait vase signed by the artist. The portrait is hand painted and not a transfer. early 20th century The portrait is of a woman leaning over on a pedestal in a garden and gazing out over a pastural mountain scene. The portrait is done in black and white. There is a grape and leaf handpainted design surrounding the portrait in colors of teal green, purple, and accents of gold gilding and burgundy. This is a magnificent piece. Condition is very, very good. There is one small very miniscule flea bite to the bottom rim, besides that it is in excellent condition with a few again very light scratch marks on the back, please see photos. Measurements: Approximately 13 1/2" high and 7" wide, base and top diameter is 4". Please feel free to email any questions you may have and we will be very happy to answer them.
