This is a charming antique hand made puppet that I purchased in France decades ago. The paper mache (papier mache) head is painted and you can see the way in which the cardboard hands are stitched to the fabric of the puppet's dress. The puppet measures 11" from the crown of her head to the bottom of the dress. With arms outstretched the width is about 10".
