Description Here is a gorgeous antique red velvet PURSE with red & gold thread fine cord handle, and red tassles with a gold bullion type knob bead decoration. Open the lid to see the words BREVETE MON AMI, which translated means Patented Friend. It has a silky material interior, and there is a centre section inside. At the moment the whole body expands out, but this is because the stitching keeping the base together has been removed by the original owner. A lovely small purse, which a lady would carry, not place in a pocket. Or it could be a DOLLS item. It measures approx 2. 1/2 inches x 2 inches x half an inch (not including the tassles). In GOOD antique condition with only minor use and age wear, expected on such an item. Please see close up pictures for more detail.
