You are bidding on an Antique French Louis XVI Sofa Chaise Lounge Chair Settee. This is a RARE FIND because of its size, age and beauty and dates back to the 19th Century and is Circa 1880 and from Paris, France. This piece was BEAUTIFULLY made and is one of THE NICEST French Chaise I have ever brought to market. This piece sits on beautifully curved and tapered cabriole legs with scrolled feet. Each leg has a beautifully carved Ancathus leaf as shown in the photos. The front as well as the sides has fluted trim work with a beautifully scrolled shell crested floral motif at the middle of each side. The back has cross splat lattice work etched into the wood as well. The upholstery is a beautiful Satin fabric with floral design in a satin finish and a goose down feather cushion. This piece is VERY HARD to find and can be used in a hallway or foyer, living room, or a study, library, home office, in a bedroom and practically anyw else throughout your house and I PROMISE will be a conversation piece. This was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses ANYTHING made today but Please understand that this is an antique so it may have some minor imperfections on it with its age and the upholstery may need to be cleaned but overall its in excellent shape. This piece measures approx 73 inches long, 30 inches wide and approx 32 inches high from the back and sits at approx 30 inches in height.
