Hi. You are bidding on a very old tapestry needlepoint interpretation of the Lady and the Unicorn Flemish tapestry. This has a pole through it and a cord so that it hangs on the wall. I thought originally it was a church banner. The faces are done in silk petit point. There is very little damage. It is beautiful. There are a few areas of missing yarn, mostly a tiny section in lower left on the pink border that you can see in photos. It is about five millimeter square. I think you will love the beauty and the quality and antique nature of this French tapestry. The size is 27 inches by 23 inches. There is a silk backing and it is mounted on a board so it is heavy.
