I am a former actress and the widow of the late actor, Pat Morita of those wonderful Karate Kid movies who protrayed Miyagi. I'm best known for my work with the comedy duo, Cheech and Chong. I prortayed their girlfriend side-kick Donna. It is my hope to pay homage to my buddies Cheech and Chong and to help me keep my husbands legacy alive. So for a limited time I will be listing some of these relics from our estate. Among the many things my husband loved to collect were snuff boxes. Offered here is a beautiful 19c shoe snuff box. This was made in France of paper mache' shaped like a shoe with a nice inlay of shell, (probably abalone) and the tinest pin work (difficult to capture the details with my camera) The hinged lid performs perfectly. This is a very early example so the embelishments have some fading, underneath the heel there's alittle scrape and there is a chip at one edge of the lid but this may have been made intentionally, not sure (see photo) However, I feel this only adds to it's old charm. It measures approx. 3" L X 1" W X 1 1/8" high at the heel's end. This is a antique and is not perfect and I describe these to the best of my ability. Please see photos as part of the description.
