This is marked on the bottom made In France and is a sevres enamel jar with a brass base. The enameling has a mottled drip effect of turquoise royal blue, light greens and golds. When the sun hits the colors it looks like a picture underneath the ocean. The fourth npicture is my camera with the flash off with the light hitting on the jar. I beleive this to have had some type of top but have no idea what it looked like. However, this is still a stunning useful piece that could be used as a vase, small lamp base for a bedroom, or leave as shown. Would be a nice item for someone who does a nautical theme. Stands 9.5" and is 19.5" circum. T are 2 small rough areas at the top of vase w the enamelling has lifted. Hard to detect but you can feel it. No other damage to report. White spots are just glare from camera. Shipping will be determined by your zip code for the exact amt. I have listed what I thought would be the avg for an eastern zip. All packages are shipped via USPS. I will ship UPS for large heavy boxes or w shipping would be cheaper than the post office. Insurance is required on breakable items, such as glass and pottery.
