Antique French Sevres Paul Milet Porcelain Vase, Art Nouveau Gilt Bronze Ormolu. Beautiful condition.The porcelain is in excellent Estate condition with no chips, cracks or repairs and the gilt ormolu is bright and also in excellent condition. The lighting mechanism appears to be in good condition with no missing parts or damage. Estimate theoriginal bases was made circa 1920.Sevres Paul Milet stamp on the bottom.Vase: 16 1/2"h x 6"wLight Fixture: 28"hAntique French Sevres ceramic vase by Paul Milet. Featuring a beautiful blue ground, bleu lapis lazuli to turquoise. Bearing an early Paul Milet mark of "PM Sevres", circa 1900-1920s.Paul Milet began his career as a modeler for Sèvres in 1862, and opened his own ceramics factory in 1866. His son Paul Jean Milet took over operations shortly before the turn of the century and ran the company until 1931. Stunning Art Deco vase of baluster form featuring "blue flambé" glaze with gorgeous blue to green tones.
