antique FRENCH STERLING SILVER ETUI 5P sewing embroidery set thimble scissorsLovely antique French silver etui, a fitted box with 5 sewing/embroidery pieces, as pictured. The scissors have sterling handles, and they are 3-5/8" long. Set also includes pull-apart needlecase with series of French hallmarks inside, and a stiletto punch and a small glove hook with sterling handles. The thimble is marked 800. It is out-of-round, but the dark spots are tarnish, not holes.I have not cleaned, and there is tarnish from age and pieces would probably benefit from cleaning. Green paper-covered fitted box has snap closure in front and inside satin lining is signed "Metais ROUEN". It is not broken or damaged, but box is worn and does have signs of age.
