This is a very beautiful, delicate pair of Victorian hand made 18K yellow gold delicate fine earrings decorated with beautiful delicate hand made engravings and set with a small cabochon cut most beautiful Turquoise. It's a most beautiful delicate goldsmith handwork. All made in 18k yellow gold tested and hallmarked on the base of the clasp with antique French hallmarks eagles head and French controlthat were used for 18K gold from Jan. 1847 till Jul. 1919 , for 18K gold . The design , craftsmanship and antique marks date these earrings to the Victorian period, circa 1880. The goldsmith has artistically and delicately created beautiful unique yellow gold shape 9mm (3/8 inch) on 9mm(3/8 inch) with beautiful delicate engravings , each earring set with a small 2mm cabochon cut Turquoise stone , superb delicate hand work . Please look at the pictures they will say much more then my words. These unique delicate earrings are from Victorian era , lovely for fine and elegant Victorian earrings lovers. The clasp is safe and very easy to wear from the back to front. The condition is good condition . The earrings are 15mm (5/8 inch) from the top of the wire to the tip of the earring and 9mm (3/8 inch) wide .
