Antique / Vintage Miniature French Wood Shelf Clock with Music box Alarm This unusual clock probably dates from the early 1900s. From research of simular clocks it apprears the probable time frame is 1920s - 1930s. The clock and musical alarm wind by key from the back. Key is included. The alarm is set on a dial on the rear of the movement. At the set time, the music box which is built into the bottom of the case plays a tune. The clock and musical alarm run well. Clock is 15" high, 8" wide, and 5" deep. The case appears in good shape with nothing broken. The clock appears to have been painted black sometime in its life. Probably not originally painted black. Not sure what type of wood, but these clock cases were normally fruitwood from the research I have done. T are no markings, but the adjustment for speed is in French.
