This beautiful oak hall seat was hand-crafted in England around 1940. Since then, the oak has acquired a lovely and subtle patina that enhances the naturally rich oak grain and complexion. The rustic design really creates quite an appeal for this piece, and together with the effects of the patina is very charming. The brass hooks complement the wood beautifully, and given that t are six of them, they provide plenty of hanging space. The seat opens up to reveal an inner storage space, and the tin tray (for umbrellas and such) is removable for easy cleaning. The beveled edges on the mirror also look quite splendid, and typically serve as one of the markers for antique pieces.
