Up for bid, Antique/Vintage 12 Gallon Round Galvanized Tub with the original Wooden Handles, and if you look closely at the pictures t are two riveted 1 3/4" X 6 1/2" slotted plates for a wash board or trough attachment.I almost didn't get this one, t w two other people that wanted it pretty bad. T are no leaks. T is a large number 2 stamped on the center inside bottom. T are also two 1 inch burgundy/red stripes around the outside,One of the stripes is 2" up from the bottom and the other stripe is 2" down from the top. I talked to the 75+ old Women that owned this tub, she said its been sitting in her barn for at least 20 years and the original lady she had bought it from was 95 when she bought it.If I had to guess I would say it is around 80 years old.The wooden handles are in good condition and tight. The handles have 6 heavy duty rivets each. The handles are 4 1/4" wide and extend 2 3/4". The outside bottom diameter of this tub is 19 1/4", inside across the top is 22" and the inside depth is 10 1/2". Filled completely to the top it will hold 12 gallons. I am asking top dollar for this tub because t are very few of these with the wooden handles and in this condition in existence.
