I have been in the lighting business for over 22 years and I am selling some of my personal collection on EBAY! This Gas Newel Post Lamp is a rare find! It is a deep rich Bronze color. It is 27 1/2" tall and the wooden base is about 9 1/2" diameter. This is still a GAS fixture but could be wired! I just didn't want to do it!!! He appears to be a Hunter (maybe Indian) and his WOLF hat is wonderful! He has a rod he holds over his shoulder with his game hanging on it.( Bird and Fox?) The pictures here magnify the imperfections but they are not noticeable when you look at it! The wooden base needs to be refinished but it is original with the GAS valve! I have never seen another one like this! There are no signatures or markings that I can find. Truly a remarkable piece!
