** RARE ! Mechanical GBN BING Tumbling / Somersaulting Bear ! GBN / Gebruder BING Nuremberg / Germany **** Bought from an estate sale in NC ! Estate owner was Collector and Antique Dealer ! (Passed away at age 76 ) There was lots of plush Teddy bears and dolls ! I bought many kind old teddy bears, i will start to list them soon... * Appraised for $3500 + by Ken Yenke / Teddy bear Historian !!! *** * Clockwork / mechanism works ! (To wind-up, move his left arm counter - clockwise) I tried and it worked a few times. I did not wind-up it too much, i was afraid to damage it... * Metal, Arrow EAR TAG on his right ear ! which is very very Rare ! * 13 1/2" inch.... (34cm) * It dates to 1910 - 1915 * Brown Mohair ! * Fully jointed. * Original FELT pads...Both has holes ! * Boot Button EYES ! * Black, horizontal stitched NOSE and MOUTH and CLAWS. * Four (4) claws per paw. (4 black stitches) * He has a HUMP on his back ! * His mohair is generally in good condition.. There are worn spots... - Around his nose, worn ... - There is a small hole on his back - On his left side of his body, top and bottom of arm connection, there are stitches. I think, it was repaired... - His right paw / hand repaired, stitched... PLEASE SEE ENLARGED PHOTOS FOR DETAILS AND CONDITION ! * Stuffed with excelsior / wood wool. THANK YOU FOR VISITING !
