For sale here is an excellent condition antique 1900's General Store brass bell on a spring doorbell. This bell has an unusual mechanism that still works fine. I believe the bell is mounted to the door frame and as the door opens it hits the small lever and shakes the bell. As the door closes the lever folds up and falls back into place. That is how it functions in my hand.Measures 7" tall x7" out from the door. Bell is 2 1/2" in diameter with a cast iron ball ringer.Here is an excellent antique General Store doorbell ready to install. It creates a nice clear old time ring when the door opens.Thank you for looking!-Andrew
