This is a Antique Gentleman's Dresser. I don't see these very often, but when I do - they are typically really expensive. I really don't know it's age, only that it is an antique. It's a beautiful piece, I always get compliments on it, but I am moving now and won't have the room for all my pieces. I was going to store it, but that would be stupid, so have decided to sell it. I really don't know what kind of wood it is. It has pretty carvings on the crown and on the two larger bottom drawers and the mirror is beveled. It's in good shape for it's age. Has had some work done to it, see the picture of the back. One of the larger bottom drawers has a crack in the wood (easily fixed), but I have had it loaded and it's never presented a problem. The drawers slide ok, but could be better, again an easy fix, I think. It's a large piece, it measures 6 feet 4 inches tall, by 3 feet 2 inches wide and 16" deep. Please ask any questions.
