Rare Antique George III Wedgwood Jasperware Pot Pourri c1810 Jasper Ware A rare George III Wedgwood Jasperware pot pourri dating from around 1810 in a yellowish glaze on an earthenware body with extensive vivid ornate applied decoration. When manufactured it would have been an expensive exclusive piece for a wealthy household. It has general wear, chips and has at sometime in the very distant past been broken and pinned. The pins were removed and the repair replaced with glue, not I think a modern adhesive but old dark glue. The lid is missing. The piece is 100% stable and together. The photographs are representative of condition so please take a look. This is a rare and important item not often available in any form. It displays very well as it is. It stands 10” /25cm tall to the top of the handles and is 13.5” / 34cm wide at the widest [point. It weighs 2.545 kilos or 5lb 9 oz. An infrequent opportunity to purchase such an item.
