This is a wonderful Bristol Blue Water/Squash Jug, Don't know its exact age, have been informed by others that have looked at it, that it is somewhere in the first half of the 19th century 1800-1850. maybe someone out there knows more than me. It is in A1 condition, no cracks or chips. there is scratching to the bottom (see the picture) but this is normal wear and tear for an item of this age, and it does not detract from the overall appearance of the jug. It measures approx 17 cm (6 3/4 inches) high x 8 cm (3 inches) diameter at the lip and the foot. As can be seen from the pictures the pontil mark has been ground out. This item is being sold without reserve so good luck with your bidding.
