Up for auction is this Georgian or early victorian mourning brooch. I believe it's Whitby jet with either gold plate or pinchbeck, could be gold but I have no way of testing. Sadly it's lost it's pin and you can see where it was previously soldered on the back. It has a lovely little plaited hair piece in the middle which is perfect. I believe it's worth repairing this piece of history! Any further questions please ask
