A beautiful Georgian Watercolour,of a high status lady,painted on top quality natural material (the kind all good portraits of this kind were painted on).Her beautiful face is of stunning quality & she has soft curls framing her face,she is in typical Georgian dress of the time,with her right hand modestly held to her chest,the look on her face is very enigmatic & i find her enchanting.The item is much larger than most miniatures measuring (just the painting its self) 8.7cm x 7cm & inits frame & case including hanging loop 10cm x 7.5cm.Please study the pictures carefully as they are an important part of the listing,showing wear & tear NOT to the painting but to the case .It also seems that there was once a signature on the back of the painting,but is now very hard to make out .This truly is a rarely stunning piece & would grace any collection proudly ,or make a handsome gift for someone of taste.
