Antique Georgian Double Sided Bulls Eye Witch's Convex Mirror Oak Mahogany Frame Description: Unusual double sided Georgian / Regency mirror in wooden frame of beautiful grain & rich patina. One side has a standard mirror with much aging to the silver. The reverse has seven convex circles set in a six-fold symmetry amongst blood red ruby glass overlay. It is said to be a witch's mirror for warding off misfortune and the dreaded Evil Eye. There is a crack to the frame but its over all integrity is sound. Glass is rippled with several bubbles and imperfections as one would expect and both sides are completely intact. A charming little item, 4" wide. Original hanging ring.
