My mother and I started doll collecting in the early 1970's in Germany. She was well known in her native Hannover as "the doll lady". To thebest of my knowledge she even coined the word still used in Germany for antique dolls "Porzellankopfpuppen" = Porcelain head dolls, when she needed a short and descriptive catchword advertising in the local newspaper. She bought many of our dolls from the original owners, getting to them by tram because she did not have a driver's license. My mom is now in her mid 80s and we decided to slowly part with some of the dolls. I used to go "doll hunting" with her when I was a kid and so know a little about the field, but I am not at all an expert, she was always the main collector. So please contact me if you need more information or photos or if you notice I made a mistake in the description. One more note: These doll have not been "prettied up", they come mostly with the wigs and outfits my mom bought them decades ago, just now taken out of storage. I am offering fine German doll house doll. Very high quality.
