CONTINENTAL ENGRAVED GLASS TANKARD c1900 A German or Bohemian amber glass tankard measuring 16 cm (6 1/4 inches) to top of the knob. It is decorated with 15 square panels, 6 of which feature famous German buildings such as the Kursall in Bad Ems and the Vier Thurme in Munster. They have been engraved to give a white, matt effect, and each of the other squares has an egraved leaf pattern round it. Metal mount, think it is pewter, clear glass lid. I think it dates to about 1900. PERFECT CONDITION
