This is a beautiful 23" doll marked "Pansy "on a wood and compo jointed German body . She was made in Germany Ca. 1900 by Borgfeldt. She has finely detailed facial paint, Big Brown working sleep eyes, open mouth with 4 teeth and a replaced wig. She is dressed in an Antique style school girl dress, hairbow, slip, undies, stockings and shoes. I find no damage, repairs or hairlines to her bisque, there are wisy hairs in the photo , these are not hairlines. The body shows the usual wear from age with all fingers and toes present, the tip of her pinky finger on her left hand is chipped. She is clean tightly strung and ready to display. Most of the dolls that I sell are either Antique or Vintage, which means they are not new and not perfect. I work hard to deliver a ready to display doll unless otherwise stated.
