RARE FIND!!! i have here an old black forest weight driven cuckoo clock for sale. made by GK and is STAMPED GK on the movement. its i pretty great condition overall...ORIGINAL BONE HANDS AND NUT.. 5" dial has its original bone numerals. it measures 18" tall and 14" wide..... no breaks or missing wood anywhere.. no repairs on the carvings at all.. carvings are 100%!!!. this clock has been well taken care of for the last 100+ years... ... has a splendid WOODPECKER at the top ALMOST 8" LONG!!! , a rare GK for sure!!! i have never seen another with the woodpecker... big old 100% ORIGINAL wooden cuckoo bird with moving wings and beak and hand painted, early brass plated movement looks to me like it was cleaned and well taken care of. the brass plates in it are in great shape. . has been thoroughly tested for time accuracy and running order......this clock runs and operates flawlessly... ....100% original adjustable pendulum. cuckoo bellows are 100% original to the clock and professionally recovered i would say about 20 yrs ago.. its a very nice piece. wonderful deep rich sounding cuckoo call..hard to find in new clocks...sounds like a real cuckoo! ... i wont date it but i will guess its maybe 1895 or so. please allow the pics to answer questions you have and feel free to ask. this clock is to my knowledge 100% original and almost MINT read more
