You are bidding on an Antique German Military WW1 Trench Fighting Mace Club. This amazing piece measures 22" long overall, with an old wood handle that's 1 ½" wide at its widest section, and a heavy metal head which measures approximately 3" wide. I've been told that this is a German WW1 trench mace, but while I've been able to confirm that it is, indeed, a trench mace, I have no way to be sure that it actually is of German manufacture. Both the handle and head look very old, with the wood handle showing a hairline grain separation that looks like it's been t a very long time (the wood is very solid and nothing is going to split or crack any further) and the head shows a nice old brownish patina. The head looks to be attached with a combination of a pin and some very old looking green epoxy like substance (see photos). Please see my photos below to have a look at this nice item.Winning bidder pays $24.00 shipping and insurance in the contiguous U.S. plus $2.00 for packing materials (bubble wrap) with shipping to Alaska and Hawaii most likely costing more (if you are in Alaska or Hawaii, please contact me for a shipping estimate). Foreign bidders pay actual shipping costs. Canadian bidders must be willing to pay USPS Air shipping and insurance. Sorry, I do not take Paypal, I accept payment by money order/cashiers check (item ships as soon as I receive your payment) or personal or business check (must clear 10 business days). Due to the large amount of items I now auction, I can unfortunately no longer allow in person pick up of items, but if you win an auction on a large or heavy item, and you are in California, please contact me about reduced shipping costs. If you are the high bidder on one of my auctions, I will email you within three hours of the auctions closing telling you the total amount of your purchase, including shipping and insurance, along with the address to which you should send the payment and a few other specifics. CANADIAN BIDDERS: I now ship only USPS Air to Canada, so if you bid on an item, you must be willing to pay the actual cost of USPS air shipping. FOREIGN BIDDERS: If I am allowing foreign bidding on this item, it is your responsibility to be aware of any import or customs fees your country may apply to your incoming packages. I have limited options for receiving payments from foreign bidders. As it stands, I can now only receive foreign payments via an international money order sent through regular mail (airmail) or via a wire service. Also, to all prospective bidders, please do not email me asking me to close one of my auctions early; as a matter of policy, I always let my auctions run to completion so everyone has a fair chance to bid. Feel free to email with any questions at . When emailing, please include the name of the item you are inquiring about in the text of the email. Thanks for looking, and happy bidding!
