This is a real find. an Antique German oiler. I am not sure what this is an oiler for, maybe just a novelty piece, not really sure. It is really unique, I am not an expert, but looks like it dates to the turn of the century. It is approx. 1 5/8" wide and 2 3/4" high altogether. The figural part alone is 1". I dont know what kind of metal this is. The part that holds the oil has Germany marked on the top of it. It also has a few very small dents, I tried to show in the pictues. The figural part is kind of rough and finish is coming off, but this is due to age. The figural top part screws off and on. T is a flat spot on the part you would hold to screw this in and out, but doesnt affect the piece, or detract from it at all, I also tried to show that in the pictures. I have not filled this piece with oil, so dont know about leaks, looks ok though. This is a really great and unuasual piece and if you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.
