Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Antique German Saxon M1845 Fusiliers Saxony Prussian Falchion Infantry Short Sword with Original Leather and Brass Scabbard. The Handle is Solid Brass with Brass Crossguard. The Sword and Scabbard Have Matching Numbers 107.L.R.1.B.4.183. The Blade is Signed "PDL" on One Side, and "JR with Crown" on the Other Side. The Sword Measures approx. 24 1/2" Long with a 19" Blade. The Total Length in the Scabbard is Approx. 25" Long.
