Imagine a home full of the reused, recycled and reloved... At Cottage Home we encourage you to fill your home with antique and vintage tableware, art, furniture, and decor Up for auction are antique silver sugar/ice/pastry tongs from Germany. T are beautiful floral and scroll details throughout. T are 3 hallmarks on the inside of the scissors, and are as follows: · "925", which indicates that the quality of silver is 925/1000. · A sideways cresent moon with an outward spike in the center followed by a pentagon, and then the number "06", which make me believe that these tongs were made by Bruckmann & Sohne, who produced silver from 1805 - 1973. · "Germany" is printed out after the maker's hallmark. These are in excellent condition, with the exception of very few and small tarnish marks. I have left them unpolished, and am sure those tarnish marks will go away with some polishing. Tongs: 6 1/2" long x 2" wide (at handles ends) A special note: The photos of the items speak for themselves and our descriptions are as accurate as we are able to describe. However, please know that we are not experts in all categories, and are describing the items as best we can. All of our items are old and used, and despite being presented in wonderful condition, may still have minor ware and scratches. We will combine shipping for multiple auctions
