Up for this auction is this beautiful antique Mettlach German stein. This stein stands 8 1/4" tall and is 1/2L in size.This stein features a very colorful tavern scene of men drinking beer. The flash on my camera doesn't show the rich colors in this stein - it's bright and vibrant. The lid and thumblift are pewter. The bottom is marked with the Mettlach Mercury mark, Villeroy & Boch, Made in Germany, Geschutzt, 1143, 11 and impressed 1909.A fantastic stein for being well over 100 years old! No chips, cracks or repairs!!! I will pack this stein well to ensure safe delivery to you.
