Antique Mantel Clock This auction is for a very nice antique mantel clock. The clock has a really nice wood case painted black and then on either side of the dial it has two whole pillars capped in brass. T is a really nice ribbon at the very top and it just has a great look. The dial is original and has some discoloration. The back of the movement indicates it was made by the Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Company and it has a stamp 1913. The clock is in great condition with some normal wear. Includes a key and pendulum. I wound the clock up, and tested it but it will not say running. Looks complete and recently serviced so I'm sure it just needs some minor work or cleaning. The gong sounds at the top of the hour (pounds out the number of hours) and then it has a single chime at the bottom of the hour. That works great. Measures about 15�" wide and 12" tall.
