Ornate Gilt Filigree Automation Style German Bird Music Box weighs 2 1/4 pounds and Measures 4 1/4" length X 2 3/4" wide and is 3" tall .The music box oval lid hinge on top needs repair it is completely off on 1 side of hinge. In order for it to work you have to hand hold the oval lid after you wind it at the bottom of base with the bird shape key, You would have to do this until you fix the hinge. Then move the front switch to the right and the motion begins.The little red featd bird comes up in a upright position starts singing (beautiful sound of chirping) and moving side to side , when bird is finished he lays right back down into position for the oval lid to close. Also t is a dent in 1 of the back corners (see picture). Working Condition on its own was Excellent until the hinge broke due to age.
