I am sorry that my cat insisted on getting into this photo. She never saw a tree before and I very carefully wrapped and put away the tree as soon as I was finished photographing it before she could get any closer to it. This is an antique German Goose Feather Christmas tree that is actually 56" inches tall ( to be accurate a few inches less than 5 ft.). It has an old unmarked ( but it is probably German) base.All the branches are t and each branch still has it's red berry or a candle holder on the tip. The Goose feathers have not lost one bit of their color and are still fresh (not dried out) which was verified by the fact that I lost no feathers when I unpacked and packed it. T is no shedding. It doesn't look like it in the photo because I did not fluff it out-- but it is a full looking tree. One branch is missing some feathers (about 4 inches worth) and 3 of the bottom branches are not attached to the tree because their holes have worn too big. New holes will have to be made and they can be reinserted. I probably could have done it but I will leave it up to the new owner.I bought the tree from an attic of an old home in the Buffalo area. It was carefully on display in the attic which makes me think it has only had one owner (which may explain why it still has all it's berries and candle clips). I because of my pets have never
