we have an antique Graniteware item being a Boston Cream Can or Milk Jug. It measures about 5 3/4" without the lid on, and about 7 1/4" with the lid on, from the base to the top of the lids handle. It is a gray medium mottled graniteware / granite ware. I have attempted to show all angles with the pictures. The lid has some smooth rust type spots on the inside top. The interior of the can is finished with the gray graniteware and is smooth. T is some discoloration on the inside of the neck area that looks like rust but I think its actually just some old grime. The top of the side handle shows some old dust. I've not done any cleaning on this. I think its in excellent condition. T are no breaks, dings or any other kind of damage. The lid fits perfectly.. snug but not too snug..just perfect. This is a really nice piece. If you have any questions, please email me.
