If you wish to buy a clock which looks new and unused, please do not buy an antique clock by us. Please keep in mind that all our antique clocks are over 100 years old and age-related wear and tear are normal. More photos under the description Origin: Silesia Maker: Gustav Becker Date: at 1890/1900 Measures approx.: High: 50 inches / 127 cm Width: 17.72 inches / 45 cm Deep: 8.27 inches / 21 cm Condition: The case is in good condition in line with the age, some old, inactive wormholes and some damages in the wood. On a clock which is older than 100 years, these flaws are truly minor and neither lowers the value nor interferes with its charisma. Dial / Movement: The dial has a demage on the enamel. Both the clockwork as well the striking mechanism are fully functional and keep good time. The movement is signed: GUSTAV BECKER FREIBURG IN SCHLESIEN BRAUNAU IN BOEHMEN MEDAILLE D'OR 184268 The striking mechanism chimes once every half hour and fully on the hour using a spiral gong. The movement is recently cleaned and oiled Incl. key All clocks we sell are in running condition at our home. However, some antique clocks need adjustment, they need to be leveled and occasionally other adjustments after shipping. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that the clock is directly in running condition when it arrives with you and if you are not experienced with old clocks maybe you need a professional clockmaker for setup the clock. Packing and shipping I guarantee you the best possible packing. All clocks will be wrapped in several layers of bubble wrap and surrounded by a thick layer of packing chips. Shipping is free Possibly arising expenses for customs tax must be paid from the buyer. These clocks have survived wars, moves etc. and were then often stored in attics or forgotten in basements. This can, quite naturally, lead to the clocks showing normal traces of wear and tear, wormholes, small color differences in the wood or even damages in the veneer. We have the movement cleaned and clean the case myself. Because as we said, we do not remove traces related to the age since for us they are an integral part of an antique clock. We also can not answer questions about whether all parts of a particular clock are still original. It is always possible that something was exchanged or supplemented years or even decades ago .
